Hello and welcome!
I’m Elena Tomasi, the recipe developer, food stylist, and photographer behind As Easy As Apple Pie, where I share simple, seasonal recipes for everyday cooking.
Originally from Italy and now based in the UAE, my interest in cooking began after moving away from home and trying to recreate the familiar recipes and flavors I grew up with using the ingredients I could find abroad. Around the same time, working as a private jet flight attendant gave me the opportunity to travel around the world and experience different cuisines and ingredients, which made me even more interested in food and cooking.
In 2014, I created As Easy As Apple Pie as a place to organize and share the recipes I was making in my own kitchen. Over time, that hobby turned into a full-time career.
Today, As Easy As Apple Pie reaches readers around the world looking for reliable, flavorful recipes that are simple to make at home.
