Ingredients

boneless skinless chicken breasts (450 grams / 1 lb)

teaspoons
lemon pepper seasoning
low sodium
¼ cup (30 g)
all-purpose flour
2
tablespoons
unsalted butter
1
lemon
sliced
the juice of half lemon
fresh chopped parsley
optional
Instructions
Cover the chicken breasts with plastic wrap and pound until each piece is about ½ inch (1½ cm) thick.
Season the chicken with lemon pepper seasoning, dredge in flour and shake off any excess.
Melt the butter over medium high heat, and pan-fry the chicken until golden brown (about 3 minutes per side).
Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Add lemon slices to the pan and brown them, about 2 minute per side.
Add the chicken breasts back to the pan and drizzle with lemon juice.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot!
